Caterpillar – dampers

Installed on 3 trucks so far, haven’t had that much road time but it sure seemed to smooth out the idle of the MXS ACERT. Mirrors on the truck don’t vibrate near as much when idling. Also seems to gain rpm a bit faster.

Replaced the factory damper on a 1991 3406b took away the odd vibration I had been feeling.
I replaced the u-joints thinking it may have been them but after replacing the u joints the vibration was still there.
But after changing the damper the truck is running smooth, it took approximately 2hrs to change out.
