This damper was designed specifically for Australian road trains but can be used for any heavy duty application or high horsepower engine. It features a heavier inertia ring to take more abuse than the standard ISX damper. Overall it weighs 12 pounds heavier. We recommend it for engines making more than 600 HP. It may also help if you have an engine vibration that cannot be identified or fixed.
Please note, this Damper will not fit with the ISX Balancer due to it having a different shape.
